What is this?

This image is a logo that I developed in high school one day. It is a twist of the logo for the old rock band GTR. It was something that I used to simply sign artwork that I had done for a long time, but this past year God revealed to us what it should represent.

There are two main bodies in it, the left and the right. The left one represents me and the right one represents my wife.

When I scrawl it out as a signature on art, the horizontal bars look like stitches holding the whole thing together, and so I call them the stitches. It was with the birth of our fourth child that I added a fourth stitch to represent her, and now the other three obviously represent our older children.

And finally whole thing forms an arrow in the centre pointing up to God who leads, blesses and guides us in our lifes journies here on Earth. Without Him, we are simply lost, and so we always are looking up for directions.

I've always liked the look of this as a shiny metal plate and it seems to fit as a family crest in that light as well. For the purposes of building files, I nicknamed it SIGGO, which is supposed to be short and slangy for "signature", but I will likely be renaming it sometime, because it sounds too much like sicko.
