What
is so Christian about Curtisart?
In
my mainstream printing history I discovered that the demand for
printers to aquire their share of the marketplace forced them
to open their doors to work for all different kinds, styles, tastes
and themes of clients. I felt compelled to opt out of doing some
of the jobs that simply were contrary from my morals and values,
which put an obvious strain on my performance at work. I ended
up lowering my standards in order to not just be too fussy, and
to also keep my job. But now as my own boss I fully intend to
maintain my standards in keeping with my Catholic and Christian
beliefs.
I
am a member of the Catholic service club the Knights of Columbus
and as such I have been fortunate enough to do some work for them
in the past. Also I love to promote moral issues and causes such
as Pro-Life.
However
God didn't create this to be a perfect world, and there are a
great many things out there that seemingly will have nothing to
do with the religious arena of thought. I am not the kind of person
who pushes God on anyone, mostly because I believe that if He
wants to express Himself through me, then I know that He will
provide me with the invitation to do so, and if it is really important,
then I just won't be stopping Him.
Your will be done.
It
is a constant learning and rehumbling process that makes me always
want to get better at it, and I recommend it to anyone willing
to become the invitation that He will place in you to ask me or
anyone else about.
The
last few years I have been the Grand Knight of the Leduc Knights
of Columbus and as such I've been presented with the opportuntity
to write letters to my council in our monthly newsletter. If you
have several months of spare time, you can browse through some
of them at the link below.
